Vintage IDL 1lb. postal scale

This is an IDL Manufacturing & Sales Corp. No. 32700 vintage postal scale with a 1lb. capacity, manufactured in Carlstadt, New Jersey. The faceplate displays historical United States postal rates effective from February 1985 (2/85). It features a mechanical spring-driven design where the red plastic indicator needle moves vertically down the scale face as weight is added to the top platform.
