Vintage brass England bed warmer

This is a vintage brass bed warmer featuring an embossed scene depicting a traditional pub or tavern scene. It is marked "Made in England" and was made during the mid-20th century. I have not tried to clean the brass as I like the natural patina. There is a little residue on the back of the handle. It is 19" long. 

These are often used as a wall hanging or wall pocket decoration. It would be beautiful with florals flowing from behind!
