Wilton Dumb Dutch trivet-1950's

This is a vintage cast iron kitchen trivet made by Wilton Products during the 1950's. It features a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch "Dumb Dutch" folk art design with hearts, whisk brooms, lovebirds and a star at the top. It has a small handle and short peg feet on the back to lift hot pots and pans off kitchen counters to prevent heat damage. It measures 8.5” x 4”. It does have some wear. There are no markings on it. 

You could also use the hanging hole at the base of the handle for a rustic farmhouse wall decor piece.
